A dress strap with a soft taper and cream stitching. Develops a copper patina over the first season of wear.

A blank canvas. Bare vegetable-tanned leather, hand-burnished — yours to age in the sun.
I cut each strap with a round knife, bevel it with steel, and stitch every hole with two needles passing in opposite directions. The result is a seam that cannot unravel — even if a thread is cut.
There is no machine in the workshop that does the stitching. There is no employee. There is no batch.
